Brückner Formtec Supplies 4.2 m wide High Capacity Line

Brückner Formtec GmbH, member of the German Brückner Group, has contracted a 4.2 meter, 3-layer Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Line in the larger Shanghai area with one of the biggest film producers in China. The decision to switch to Brückner Formtec to supply their fourth CPP line was due to the superior line concept and Brückner’s customer centered attitude and competence in providing solutions. The innovative line concept with unique, integrated pull roll design and proven Brückner winding technology is based on more than 40 years of experience in biaxial stretching technology. This includes widths of up to 10 m, speeds of up to 500 m/min and capacities of up to 35.000 tons per year. Brückner Formtec’s high performance CPP line concept cater film widths of up to 6m at speeds of up to 300 m/min. Brückner’s especially adapted process system links all production units and thus provides unchallenged operating safety, defining a new industry standard for high-speed CPP lines with outstanding productivity. Another resulting benefit is the superior handling via intuitive, graphical user interface of all components and the compact machine design. Key line facts are:  4.2 m net film width on winder 10.000 tons per annum output for 3 layer film 1 x 175 mm main extruder and 2 x 105 mm co-extruders Automatic die gap adjustment with patented Brückner TCE – Thickness Control with Evolution Strategy Integrated design Pull Roll Stand with oscillating edge trim, two-way Corona treatment and post cooling unit.
