4th BOPP-Brückner line successfully started
“I just joined the sales department of Brückner when the first BOPP line with Süper Film was signed in 1994 and I am therefore very happy that we now delivered the fourth Brückner line for their new site in Lüleburgaz”, says Johann Kreilinger, Head of Sales Middle East, Subcontinent at Brückner Maschinenbau, describing the long-standing relationship between the two companies.
In 1994, Abdülkarim Konukoḡlu, son of the SANKO Group founder, signed the contract for the first ever Brückner line in the Turkish market. Süper Film was founded and became part of the SANKO Group. Over the years, two more BOPP lines from Brückner Maschinenbau followed at their site in Gaziantep. Süper Film always invested in the latest line concepts and technologies. Their first line was ultra-modern regarding film width, speed and output. Their second line was one of the first 5-layer BOPP lines in the world. Their third BOPP line was the first in the Turkish market with a film width on winder of over 8 meters and is equipped with one of the first twin screw main extrusion systems as well as a special coextrusion system for an innovative white film production.
For their new site in Lüleburgaz, close to Istanbul, Süper Film made a conscious decision in 2021 to join hands again with Brückner. Their new BOPP line is the state-of-the-art with maximum film width and speed available at time of ordering.
Süper Film Packaging as a Sanko Holding company is a leading film producer for the Turkish market. At their site in Gaziantep Industrial Zone they produce various types of packaging film. In 2021 they announced a new investment located on European side of Turkey, in Lüleburgaz to increase Super Film’s total flexible film capacity up to 184.000 tons/year.
