DEKRA awards ISO 50.001 certification
DEKRA's ISO 50.001 certification confirms Brückner Maschinenbau's far-reaching efforts in the area of energy efficiency and sustainable management. Specifically, the company's energy management system, which complies with an international standard, was certified.
In order to obtain the certification, several specific steps were taken. The project team analyzed energy consumption and flows, defined energy targets and introduced measures for improvement in accordance with ISO specifications. Extensive training courses were also held for the workforce to improve energy use at the site. As a result of the implementation, Brückner Maschinenbau is committed to continuously improving its energy balance.
In the subsequent audit by DEKRA, all requirements for certification were successfully confirmed. This certification represents an important milestone for Brückner Maschinenbau and confirms the company's continuous efforts towards sustainability and energy efficiency.
The independent certification body DEKRA is the world’s largest non-listed expert organization in the TIC sector (Testing, Inspection, Certification). The group focuses on the inspection of vehicles and technical systems, but also offers other services like testing and certification.
